The thing I like about your arts are, that they are not static. And you know how to color with good color composition, not overdone, but not too simple either.

The lines on the woods, although they look like you doodled them, they work very well, adding the sense of looseness (or something) in your picture. The line you draw on the character is cool too, thick thin.

I like the way you give monochromatic sense to the picture, but you added warm color (red and earthy brown, though kinda bluish with the reflection(?)) to the character, making it as the vocal point.... I think you drew/color these all without real planning (judging from the strokes and speed) so you really have a good intuitive and sense of color/composition. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Kudos. Nice color, composition and line quality. Although this is just a quickie, this is going straight to my fav+




(You were a Sheridan graduate... right? I'm in the first year Illustration. I never know they're this hard... me being previously a cook student and all.. sigh )

Unbelievable. Whenever I see a gorgeous piece of art like this and the artist claims it was done in an hour, I just want to go outside and strangle a kitten or something. Your art puts the rest of us mere mortals to shame. The pen lines for the trees are visible to the naked eyes, but the colours are so well chosen and so well blended into the environment that the style perfectly captures the foliage of the evergreens. I wish anyone at my college was half as good as you - then I could ask them for lessons. -_-
